Crocheting the Scaries Away
Phew…let me straighten my bun real quick and then let’s get into this!
There’s something truly magical about the rhythm of crochet - the gentle pull of the yarn, the steady motion of the hook, and the quiet sense of accomplishment with every stitch. For me, crocheting isn’t just a hobby or a way to pass the time - it’s my lifeline.
I live with anxiety, and over the years I’ve discovered that knitting and crocheting (and other hands-on crafts I’ve delve into soon") help keep my mind calm, focused, and centered. Whenever I feel the weight of panic creeping in, I turn to my yarn. The act of creating something with my hands becomes a form of meditation, and before I know it, I’ve crafted not just a beautiful piece, but a sense of peace within myself.
One of my favorite things to crochet lately had been crochet halter tops - just like the one I made in the photo. These pieces are made with love and intention, not just as fashion statements, but as wearable symbols of the joy and calm that crochet brings me every day.
I’m excited to share that I’ll be offering these tops as made-to-order creations - meaning you can customize the color, size, and style to your liking. Whether you want a bold, bright statement piece or something soft and neutral, I’ll craft it just for you! Here’s the link to my shop, or reach out in my contact section!

And for my fellow crocheters: if you’d rather make your own, let me know! I’m happy to post the pattern so you can create your own happy-making top too.
Thank you for supporting my small, handmade journey. Every order you place not only helps me continue doing what I love - it helps me stay grounded and joyful, one stitch at a time.
I also have some links below for my fellow crocheters/knitters that love Yarnspirations patterns or yarn!
